(More customer reviews)The frame looks great in my son's sport themed bedroom. He's only 9 and has Nerf basketball and magnetic darts... We are very active so I worry about broken sharps and glass. The frame has a nice clear plastic front to protect the picture, but the whole unit is soft enough to not cause a significant injury if he gets carried away playing. The stand in the back allows it to sit vertically or horizontally.
