This is the size of a standard "poster print" at your local photo shop, but oddly enough it is not a common poster frame size that you you can easily find at JoAnn's or Michaels, so I was looking for quality and low price online. The poster print itself cost $9 at Sam's Club Photo, so I didn't want to spend a huge amount on the frame, but yet it was going in my dining room, so I wanted it to look nice. This frame meets both of those criteria.
The satin black frame in the wide 2" width indeed looks nice in my dining room. The width makes it look substantial enough, and the subtle, smooth black satin finish adds class but lets the poster print stand out without the distraction of a fake wookgrain or texture.
Note(1): The frame comes with standard screw-eyes, hanging bracket, and braided steel wire for hanging in either direction as you desire; there is no pre-applied hardware (I have had other poster frames that come with hardware pre-attached to the frame, but in this price range such hardware tends to be be minimum spec that easily rips out, so the standard screw-eye that comes with this product is superior.) I put the screw eyes in at an angle so they wouldn't lift the frame off the wall too much. This does require a hand drill and needle-nose pliers, so some tools are required.
Note(2): This product comes with a piece of corrogated cardboard backing. I chose to instead dry-mount the poster to a piece of Dollar Tree 20x30 foam board with some 3M spray adhesive I have. I recycled the backing that came with the product. Dry-mounting of a print this large is a good idea to keep it from drooping or developing wrinkles (make sure the foam board is flat, smooth and solid--a bit iffy at Dollar Tree...)
Total price of this project with poster, frame, foam board was about $40, not counting the tools and can of spray adhesive I already owned.
