(More customer reviews)I knew my husband-to-be and I were probably not going to bother looking through a traditional wedding guest book in the future, and wanted something more practical that we'd actually use, so was looking for a signature frame for a long time online before I found this one. Engravable ones, which use a metal-tipped pen, are $100-$200 and were out of our price range. The average price is about $60 for this traditional ink-pen-signable mat, which was still a little more than I wanted to spend.
I ultimately went with this one because of the very reasonable price and the silver frame (most signature frames are black and I wanted something more elegant and 'wedding-y'.)
We used a 5x7 print from our engagement session, and a regular silver rollerball-type pen. So far we're very pleased with the results.
The frame is very pretty, goes especially well with a black and white photo, and seems to be good quality. The plastic protector part, which of course you have to remove so the guests can sign the mat, got scratched in the car on the way to and from the venue, but that's because I forgot to wrap it all in bubble wrap first. It shouldn't be too expensive to replace anyway.
