(More customer reviews)I bought a few of these, and they are beautiful brushed stainless steel frames with a small radius (curve) on the inside and outside edges. I'm not sure about the "chrome" part of the description, it is definitely not the shiny type of chrome. (My frames also seem to be much wider that the 1.25" described -- no complaints from me on that front!) The plain corrugated backing and flat bendable fastners are pretty cheap, of course, and it is always a pain to have to attach the screw-in eyes for the wire. It also came very over packaged -- the box was fastened with those huge industrial staples that had are used for furniture boxes! -- it must have taken us 15 minutes to extract the frames. For the price, again, no complaints -- I can upgrade the backing for a few bucks if I want. The frame really is finished beautifully -- no misaligned corners, no imperfections at all. Also, when you buy a few, the shipping charge is just a bit higher that the single frame charge -- you can see what it will be before you finalize the purchase. It ended up just a couple dollars per frame for me (I also bought a few others in a different style from the same company).
