The product info states that it is "virtually unbreakable", which is not at all true. It is made out of a fairly cheap plastic and the one I recieved had a good sized chip on the side of it straight out of the package and the chipped peice was no where to be found. Another issue was placing the photo in it; one would think that a frame would be easy to pop open but this one took some time to realize that the white border around the FRONT of the photo is meant to be pryed off so that a new photo can be placed within. Some directions would have been nice so that I didn't waste any time trying to find a place to open it from the back.
I think that it would still be an okay gift if the relative it's being purchased for is a child, but I wouldn't advise giving it to another adult, it screams 'cheap'.
