(More customer reviews)I didn't know what to do with my old panoramic photos that just didn't seem to fit inside standard panoramic frames without slipping down. My photos were about 3 1/2" tall and 10" wide, as opposed to the 4" tall and 10 or 11" wide that seems to be standard in frames.
So a floating frame completely solves the problem! My photos look beautiful, sleek and modern, yet with a warm appeal from the color around the frame. What's more, I can stand one panoramic partially behind the other one and get a great look. The biggest plus is that it's so easy to fit your photo inside...Just take the separate the two heavy pieces of acrylic, lay your photo on one of them, and close.
Downsides are: 1. the frame is quite heavy, and you wouldn't want to put it on any table or rack where it could fall on a child, and 2. photo stands straight up, doesn't lean back, so looks best when at approximately eye height.
