(More customer reviews)I guess from the pictures I thought that the large hemisphere that anchors the figures to the ground was a hefty magnet. It's not. The only magnetic part of these is a small magnet that holds the photo in place on the "head" of the figure. Also, from the picture I was thinking you could fix each figure in a different standing position, but you can't the three figures come in three different fixed positions with differing heights. However, I think what the picture was trying to communicate was that since the fixed foot of each figure is not a flat disc but semi spherical, if you nudge the figure it sort of moves from side to side.
I guess its not anyone fault but I was sort of disappointed since I was envisioned hefty hilarious fridge magnets of various family members running all over the place. They're still fun photo holders though.
